**** you people and your good sleep. For the past 5 months I've AVERAGED less than 3 hours a night. AVERAGED. EVEN WHEN COUNTING ALL THE CATCHING UP ON THE WEEKENDS.

TL;DR: I ******* hate my dorm.

6 months ago I was averaging 2 - 6 hours a night on good nights. I had insomnia really bad like 3 to 5 days without sleep then I would crash for a few hours. Now I cant explain it but the last few weeks ive been getting 13 + hours a night and still feel drained. WTF man why would I go from one to the other so fast and extreme? Curious if anyone has an opinion.

I sleep from noon till 7PM every day. I get enough sleep, but no matter how hard I try I can not kick my sleeping pattern into something that accommodates attending University.

Damn, and I thought I was bad, I'm 5AM to around 1PM here.Just not a morning person. Part of it is, I work from home and my employers are on the west coast and I am on the east coast, they have me work late to their time. Second, I am just more of a night person.

If you want my advice, though, I think you should gradually change your sleep cycle. I think that's getting a bit ridiculous, 12PM to 7PM! Maybe try going to bed earlier by 10 minutes a week. Try to do something like changing eating and exercise routines. If you're not exercising at all, that could be a sign that you got alot of extra energy to burn off that is keeping you awake all night.

It's good you are getting your 8 hours in but your hours are bad. It is dramatic enough that you may want to see a doctor for some sleeping pills to start off with.

When I'm on a ship, I'll average maybe, 6 hours of sleep a night for 7 days a week for however many months at a time I'm gone.

When I'm home. It ends up the same way because you try to sleep in and your body just goes "LOL NOPE!"

I'm sick and haven't managed to sleep for more than three hours at a time in the last two years. In the last three weeks I seem to be lucky to get at the most, an hour of sleep every other day.
I keep wishing I wasn't sick and able to attend college. With this sleeping pattern, I would have been a God.

I get about 4-5 hours a night then sleep through Tuesday.

Like literally go to sleep Monday night and wake up on Wednesday.

Last year was my last in high school, I averaged maybe 4, max 5 hours of sleep on week days. This year I've bee doing nothing, and sleeping for 9-10 hours almost every night. When I continue my studies in august I don't want to go back to not sleeping.
