Anyone who can't understand hardware specs is doing massive disfavor for themselves. In that case I have a desktop to sell with a 1 Ghz processor and 500Mb of RAM for $1000.

If you choose a gamingsystem because of Hardware, I really want you to reconsider why you're buying a console in the first place....

When i bought a PS4 my parents decided to give my PS3 and games to my brother... I have to say I should have just bought a hundred fat blunts, now I have neither good games nor nearly enough dank kush to survive the boredom. Good thing I still have a million and a half games on steam, PC master race wins again *Pic Related*.

Okay guys I'm going to post my opinion. I'm ready for your rage.

This is from the perspective of a console gamer and why I prefer my console.

Let me start this off by saying I love PC for what it offers, and even though I can't play a lot of the games I want on PC, I love seeing the mods people come up with.

1. I don't care what anyone says, UNLESS YOU PIRATE ALL YOUR GAMES, PC GAMING IS NOT CHEAPER THAN CONSOLE GAMING. You heard me right folks. With my 400 dollar xbox one I can play BF4 on near max settings with 60 FPS. If I didn't wait months to collect parts that were on sale, it would cost at least 900-1000 dollars to buy a PC that could do that same thing. Plus, if you want to play the best games on the best settings, you're going to have to buy a new GPU every 2-3 years. And that is what evens PC out with the console's subscription fee. And since ISP's are cracking down on traffic, pirating is becoming increasingly more difficult anyway.

2. I like relaxing when I play. With my console, I can kick back on my bed and just chill. I'm comfortable. With a PC I'd be in a chair all day, and I prefer laying down.

3. It's more simple. I don't like having to fiddle with my audio and video settings and choosing where to store stuff and going into my game files. I just like to pop in a game and play. The console optimizes for me. I'm not one for tinkering with my games and because of this I prefer my console.

4. I prefer using a controller. I know all of you are going to say "Well you can use a controller on PC." I know. I think it's an awesome feature. But I prefer y controller for all my games. If I were to play with a controller in a competitive online shooter on PC I would get anally ********** .

5. My friends primarily play xbox. It's a social thing.

Again, I love PC. It's what causes innovation in gaming. I just want PC users to understand why I like my console. Just throwing my hat in.

In my personal opinion, Owning a PC and then the whatever Nintendo console is out is the best route to take.

Mostly every game I'd want to play would be released on the pc eventually except for the Nintendo games. So I get a little bit of everything.

Give me a reason why PC is NOT the master race?
User avatar #150 to #140 - venomousvalentine ONLINE (06/28/2014) [-]
Also about the price, you can build or buy a PC that can run most current gen games for like 600 dollars, which is not much more than how much current gen consoles cost.
Not to mention PC is more than just a gaming device. its a tool with infinitely more functionality.
As well as the fact games are cheaper, so by the long run you save more money.
User avatar #229 - katothepotato (06/28/2014) [-]
I bought the Xbox One Titanfall Bundle. Fun game if you ask me. And to be honest I couldn't care what you use to game. The point of games is to have fun, not ******* argue over what device can ******* fry a egg and jack you off while you're playing on "max settings."

"Guide on how to be a console peasant"

here's a guide on how to be a real master race

1. buy a pc and be intelligent enough to realize that the startup price will pay for itself on those 4.99 steam summer sale deals

2. that's it

optional steps: buy each console with yoru leftover money in case you want any exclusives
User avatar #26 to #18 - frankwest (06/27/2014) [-]
The optional step is actually step two. You aren't master race until you have everything you can game on. Don't have a Sega Saturn? You're a peasant. No virtual boy? Peasant.

I have...

1. £800 gaming pc.

2. a xbox 360.

3. a ps4.

so i have the master race. the new gen and the opposite next gen. i used to own a ps3 bt i sold it for the ps4. they are all good in every way. being a gamer means you play everything on every type.

If you're willing to spend 700+ on a Console just buy a PC
