I absolutely love him and his music, I love how it's crafted, I love the stories his albums are based on and I like a lot of the messages he portrays. I am very depressed that I will likely never see him live as he seems to bypass New Zealand in all his tours. I am also sad that his live shows now lack the energy they used to have. He's more like a poet with a backing track.
Lots of the things he says and does are more than they seem, and he's a very clever person. His lyrics are intricate and well crafted, even when they aren't (if you see what I mean) and he creates atmosphere incredibly well.
