black/death metal- storm of the lights bane by dissection. If you're in to black metal you probably already heard this, but if you haven't you should. I don't even like the genre but this is one of my most favorite albums of all time.

heavy metal- If you're looking for that traditional metal, you can't go wrong with the classics like motorhead and judas priest, but if you're looking for something out of mainstream I would suggest skullfist, they're a newer band but have that traditional sound it's sick lol.
