Please, is there anyone in this barren wasteland who listens to At the Drive-In as religiously as I do?

I usually browse /mu/ and well... it's much different there. a little more tasteful, some would say.

I've been aware of them for a while with plans to try to get into them, haven't done it yet though.

They're fantastic. The only 'good' band I liked when I was into shitty music in the 8th-9th grade. I appreciate them even more so now than I did before, and they got me into all sorts of different kinds of music, and into punk rock/hardcore. The good, gritty, underground stuff. It's truly remarkable.

It's all really good. Most of their splits and EP's are FANTASTIC. I really love Relationship of Command, but the band themselves don't like that record because of how polished it sounded. They preferred that lo-fi sound and I agree. Punk is supposed to be sloppy. These guys got really experimental.

Anyways, my all time favourite song by them is Cosmonaut, easy.
