/music/ rate my newest bootleg, it's House/Electro House, a mix of Alex Clare's too close and Flare by Dannic, Feedback very appreciated! soundcloud.com/rafael_molina/flare-too-close-rafael-molina
Ok, I'm using FL studio and I cant tell you how much I love Kev Willow, the guy that does tutorials. Last night I sat down to try to make some kind of something (Im kind of new to electronic music), and following his guide I made something I find pretty cool. What VST's are you using?
for making bootlegs/ mashups you don't require many vst's, but usually I use Nexus and the 3xosc is pretty good too, if you need to know anything about electronic music in general you can ask, altough my main forte is house and some of trance. If you want to start producing you can start making some of those, until you can move on onto more complex things. You can add me up and I can keep teaching you through there if you want, too, just tell me where through.
teach me your ways! I always use 3xosc but the sound usually comes out really corny and basic. also If I try making a song i have trouble filling it in.. not sure if you catch my drift. its like theres not enough instruments in the song so it feels like if you had a band with only a drummer and a guitarist, no vocals, no bass guitar, no keyboard etc..
Sure, it depends usually, it can be as simple as a bassline and a few tribal sounds, take for example Fat Patchy by Muzzaik, with a simple melody plus a bassline and a few tweaks, like Alamo by Dirty South or it can be really complicated like some Daft Punk live mixes, it's all about letting your creativity flow and finding at least a decent harmony in things
thanks !. soundcloud.com/djmcbee/incomplete-tune <and this is a track i started today, i like it so far except I need to add to it and that's where I get stuck.. The drums are too basic and the snare sounds weird, plus I have no clue what to do after this hahah
