So, I'm buying a microphone to just record some demo stuff at home and was thinking a usb-microphone would work fine. I was thinking of buying this microphone: Samson C01u.
I'm going to use it for both clean and heavily distorted guitar.
What do you guys think?

USB mic: No go
Just get a regular microphone. If you record straight into your computer, you're going to get a very shit sound.

I know it's way better to get a real microphone and a soundboard, but I'm not really going for the ultimate sound. I don't have that much money either (in before save you poor fuck). I'm just going to use it in my room.
Everyone keeps saying "no go" on usb-microphones, but it really doesn't sound all that bad on youtube, and the one I'm thinking about gets really good reviews.
