A bitch who used to be a friend of mine mentioned that she "loved" Green Day. Like a diehard fan. I asked her favorite album. Enthusiastically, she responded "21st Century Breakdown". I agreed it was a great album, but I mentioned that I love "Dookie" and "Nimrod" as well.

Mfw she had no idea what I was talking about.

I feel the exact same way. Especially with people who wear Misfits shirts. I went up to this one girl and asked her what her favorite song from Walk Among Us was and she gave me the weirdest look.

I do listen to them, though.

You don't have know everything about the band.
You should at least know who they are, and one.
At least ONE of their most famous songs.

I hate it when Bands are worn like Brands.Its the worst with The Ramones and Motörhead,but its the same with Kiss,The Rolling Stones and other Bands.Its fucking annoying...

I only once got in a fight cause someone was pissed because I have a Black Metal and A Power Metal Backpatch and he thought that should be punished.I fucking hate the Metal/Punk/Rock-Scene where I live....

I have a pretty nice punk/metal scene around here, they don't mind if you have different genres on a vest/pants
I actually go to school with maybe 25% of the people in my town who like punk, one of the bands is a local favorite

Well,its pretty fucked up where I live,nearly all Metalheads/Punks are elitist Bastards and dont even know enough about their music to be elitist.Pretty sad
