bands or artist you once thought were really Enjoyable and are now really shit

for me right now that band is Muse......Matt Bellamy get your head out your ass!
other bands in the same boat are Foo fighters, Biffy clyro, Atreyu, fighting with wire....

it just seems that as soon as a band gets even a little more popular they think they can forget about the fans that got them their in the first place

I used to OBSESS over My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy, mainly because the lyrics were relatable to me at that age, but now I only like a handful of MCR songs and FOB just annoy the shit out of me.

Agreed, Muse fanboys usually criticize people who don't like their new stuff by saying that they're not open to change. I appreciate it when a band takes a different direction, like what Radiohead did with Kid A or Amnesiac, but Muse's new direction just seems kinda shitty.

Linkin Park is a pretty good example of this as well. Though I do like their new stuff, it just isn't the same or AS enjoyable as their old stuff. But hey, it's all debatable depending on other people's music taste.
