Hey guys, does it really matter if you start learning electric guitar or acoustic guitar first?
and if you learn either one would you be able to play the different guitar?

I didn't really like the acoustic guitar much. But once I got an electric guitar, the acoustic guitar stood out to me more for some reason.

What do you mean buy it stood out?

I wanted to play it more for some reason. but I have a shitty, cheap acoustic guitar so that isn't gonna happen.

Right, I'm more than likely getting a acoustic guitar after I learn how to play electric, hopefully

They're pretty much the same, little different feel and sound, but that's about it. either one is fine.

Except the part on where if you play acoustic guitar your fingers get really messed up from the strings.

Nothing I've ever heard of, but you do have to change the strings often, as mine are out of tune and oily. Also, the more you play, the harder your skin gets on your fingers.

That's what I mean, when you play the acoustic guitar, due to the fact you have to press down more on the strings, the strings leave a sore in-print on your fingers

But then as you play, it doesn't happen as often. with the hard skin on your finger, it also goes away very, very quickly. It only starts to hurt for me after about an hour or two of constant playing, which means I don't have completely developed calluses, which is the hard skin.

Thanks for the re-assurement

Makes no difference.
If you learn one the other will be a bit easier.

But wouldn't the acoustic guitars strings be still hard to press down?

Nahh, you get used to it.
