Chuck Schuldiner.

Even though it's cliche I think Hendrix should be on the list. I don't know what you consider tragic but I consider the loss of someone who had so much more to write and achieve vs. Micheal Jackson who was a pop idol and famous in his own right I don't think he had much more to create. Other than that the list is good and I really like that you had Cobain he died to young.

Well one thing is for sure your nowhere near a metal fan you don't even got chuck schuldiner on ur list. And dimebag takes the cake wen it comes to tragic dead he got brutally murdered on stage 7 shots in the dead.

And euronymous from mayhem got stabbed 21 times by a band member

Valfar from windir froze to death on the mountain now that's just sad

Also per "dead" from mayhem shot himself in the head with a double barrel shotgun writing his suicide note on the last lyric pages of the dee mysteriis Dom satanhas Songs, saying (sorry for the blood )

not a big slipknot fan, i reckon?

His death made me cry. Although, it wasn't very tragic. He was addict, so his death was going to come sooner or later. His baby being born a month later made his death even sadder. But hey, she's got 8 other great fathers.
User avatar #27718 to #27652 - themastermorris (09/02/2012) [-]
Wasn't he about to be a father before he died?
User avatar #27654 to #27652 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
I had no idea he was even ded.
M sister listens to him.
User avatar #27660 to #27654 - BeardOfJesus (09/02/2012) [-]

User avatar #27664 to #27660 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
While I do not think in any way that they are bad, I din think they let as big an impact on the industry as the others on this list.
User avatar #27666 to #27664 - BeardOfJesus (09/02/2012) [-]
I see your point, on a longer list i suppose he'd be included.
User avatar #27656 to #27654 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
*them
User avatar #27650 to #27634 - Metallicock (09/02/2012) [-]
I think Dime needs to be higher on that list.
I'm pretty sure he was the only musician to be murdered on stage in front of fans
Anyone who was at that concert that night probably emotionally scarred.

He may not be as famous as those other musicians but his death was pretty damn tragic
#27671 to #27650 - N. Korean citizen (09/02/2012) [-]
Lol dimebag not famous!? Are you a fuckin rock and u live under itself not big!? Holy fucking dogshit I can't believe it dimebag NOT FAMOUS!?!?! He's just one of the best complex guitarist there is and is a huge fucking unique influence I can't believe what I just read I need to sleep this off cus this is making me combust
User avatar #27719 to #27671 - themastermorris (09/02/2012) [-]
Well you have a point about him being a HUGE influence, but that remained in metal. In society, metal isn't considered popular
User avatar #27653 to #27650 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
When one of the must popular bands of the 21 century makes a song about his death (Side of a Bullet- Nickelback), it's pretty damn tragic.
User avatar #27659 to #27653 - Metallicock (09/02/2012) [-]
Zack Wylde (former guitarist for Ozzy) made a few songs and covers for Dime after his death too
User avatar #27657 to #27653 - toxicdisorder (09/02/2012) [-]
That's my favorite Nickelback song. I don't like many other songs from them though, only really their older shit. from since they began up to about 2005 they had good music.
User avatar #27651 to #27650 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
I may put him higher than BIG.
User avatar #27655 to #27651 - Metallicock (09/02/2012) [-]
Well its just my opinion. Idk what kinda music you listen to but I listen to a lot of metal and Dime is my hero in the music world.

I wish I was born a decade or two earlier so I could have been around for the days of Pantera, White Zombie, and the rise of Metallica and Guns n Roses
User avatar #27658 to #27655 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
I wasn't putting them onthe list for just skill, I put them On the list for impact.
But I think Darrell should be higher.
User avatar #27644 to #27634 - gagrgorgrs **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
Frank Zappa deserves a big spot on there. He was an amazing musician and I've heard he wrote all his music sober too.
User avatar #27646 to #27644 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
I haven't heard of him. My main guideline is that death of old age won't be on the list.
I'll put him as an honorable mention, with Whitney Houston, Eazy E, and Proof.
User avatar #27648 to #27646 - gagrgorgrs **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
He died of butthole cancer.
User avatar #27665 to #27648 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
How beautiful.
User avatar #27635 to #27634 - teoberry (09/02/2012) [-]
he's not that well known, so you might want to include on a bigger list (if you have one), but bugz of d12. he was killed over a watergun fight, which is fucked.
User avatar #27636 to #27635 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
I was considering adding Bugz or Proof. That's when I realized I only know how they died because of eminem songs, so i decided against it.
User avatar #27638 to #27636 - teoberry (09/02/2012) [-]
makes sense, the others were more popular, so it's better to put them on the list.
User avatar #27640 to #27638 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
Besides, if I put a musician on the list for how they died, I would certainly put Tennessee Williams on it. Look it up. It's a weird way to die.
User avatar #27642 to #27640 - dunsparce **User deleted account** (09/02/2012) [-]
Im an idiot. Tennessee Williams is a writer.
