I need some music to give me feels. Preferably acoustic, but whatever. Any suggestions?

+more feels if you like mass effect

I really like that song, but the only feel I get from Mass Effect after that turd of a finale is rage

This sounds exactly like M4, Part 2. Don't they ever use a different guitar line? o_o
User avatar #21019 to #21017 - omnomnipotent (08/03/2012) [-]
That's most likely the reason they chose it for ME3 ending. Still awesome, in my opinion.

Everchanging (acoustic) - Rise Against
User avatar #20977 to #20976 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
love that song <3 Rise Against is my favorite band. lol
User avatar #20980 to #20977 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
Same here! I love their acoustic stuff. Whats your favorite album?
User avatar #20981 to #20980 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
I love all there stuff, but I prefer the heavier, more hardcore songs. My favorite would probably be a tie between The Unraveling and the Sufferer and the Witness. how about you?
User avatar #20983 to #20981 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
Its hard to choose, all of their stuff is great. Probably Revolutions Per Minute or The Sufferer and The Witness
User avatar #20985 to #20983 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
I love all of their records. Especially the first four. But Appeal to Reason just felt kind of uninspired and Endgame was good, but not on par with their best, imo
User avatar #20988 to #20985 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
Appeal to Reason and Endgame were definitely their weakest albums, still good, but not as good as the rest. One of my favorite songs will always be Hairline Fracture though
User avatar #20990 to #20988 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
Appeal to reason could have been great if they hadn't cut songs like Grammatizator, Sight Unseen, etc. And really? In my opinion, that was one of the weaker songs on the album. I just thought it lacked any punch, instrumentally or vocally
User avatar #20992 to #20990 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
I think so too, the song the put on the avengers soundtrack was great too, and lanterns should have made it on endgame. And it may like the punch, but the lyrics get me every time I listen to it.
User avatar #20993 to #20992 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
Honestly, it would have made average songs like Entertainment, Kotov Syndrome, Re-Education, etc so much better. And I guess I can feel you on that one, lyrics have always been possibly the greatest thing about RA. I mean, Tim's way with words is uncanny. Idk if you've already heard this, but look at these lyrics: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5vYSgL9iX8
User avatar #20994 to #20993 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
I agree, I hope that when they make their next album that there are some heavier songs on it, even just 1 or 2 to mix it up. Oh my god... that was amazing....
User avatar #20995 to #20994 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
Eh, as much as I'd like to think so, I doubt it. They've gotten so huge lately, it would be impossible unless they went to an independent label like Fat Wreck or even Epitaph. I just hate all the teenyboppers running around saying that Rise Against is their favorite band because of Make It Stop or Hero of War. And the chorus of that song gets me every time.
User avatar #20996 to #20995 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
Its the same here, I'd love it, but its unlikely. I would really like to see them on an independent label again. I'd also love a solo acoustic album by Tim, I would love that to death. And I agree, all the new fans don't pay attention to anything before sufferer
User avatar #20997 to #20996 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
That would make my day. And a solo album by Tim certainly would be nice. And you're forgetting about Swing Life Away. That was on SSotCC
User avatar #20999 to #20997 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
Very true, everyone does know swing life away. I was so sad when I saw them live at warped they didn't play it
User avatar #21001 to #20999 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
Dude. I went to Tinley Park (Chicago) Warped tour, and they weren't even there. They skipped their hometown's Warped Tour date. That's at least 10x worse. Just out of curiosity, what songs did they play? I'll eat my shirt if more than one of them was for their first two records.
User avatar #21090 to #21001 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
Well, we reached the comment limit. And that's true, but I still think they could pull off one of the more melodic songs off those albums. If I they played everchanging acoustic live it would be amazing.
User avatar #21122 to #21090 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
I love their acoustic stuff. I think I'd also like to see them play the original Everchanging too. Hell, I'd just like to see them live.
User avatar #21271 to #21122 - untamedlazyeye (08/04/2012) [-]
I want to see them again so bad, but that probably won't happen until next year
User avatar #21534 to #21271 - iliekcereal (08/05/2012) [-]
I've nearly gone to see them about twice, but none of my friends like them as much as I do, and I didn't really want to go alone
User avatar #21003 to #21001 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
Chamber the Cartridge, Satellite, Make It Stop, Prayer Of The Refugee, Ready To Fall, Re-Education and Savior. Really short set, but still amazing. Sadly, none from the first two. I was so pissed when I found out they played an acoustic set on the show after mine...
User avatar #21004 to #21003 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
Geez, that's it? All of those songs are from their last 3 albums. And lol, did you miss that?
User avatar #21005 to #21004 - untamedlazyeye (08/03/2012) [-]
Yep, I really want to see them at a show they are headlining so they have an hour or longer set time. I was really hoping to hear one song off revolutions like Blood Red White and Blue. And yep, missed it, I was so disappointed.
User avatar #21076 to #21005 - iliekcereal (08/03/2012) [-]
I'd love to hear anything from The Unraveling or RPM. However, I don't think it'd be as good as normal. Tim just doesn't seem to have the same voice anymore. Also, I love acoustic music (just for that one guy)

I don't know if it's the kind of feel you're looking for. I don't listen to that much feel music. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyQccnn4lxw

Ha I don't really watch it for the video. There's just no audio of the song with just like a picture of the album on Youtube.
