i got D'Addario flatwounds put on my new guitar yesterday, since normally you're supposed to remove the stock strings when you get a new guitar.
They feel about 2-3 gauges higher than what was stock (these are 11-50, no idea what the stock was but they were obviously lighter)
i noticed this morning that my trem has lifted up about 1/8th of an inch.
at first i was worried, but then i realized
i can now use it in both directions.
