In illinois the insurance card issue allows police to basically do whatever the **** they want in order to receive your insurance card, if you imply that you have one, but wont give it over.

Its illegal to drive without it and you can be arrested on the spot if you dont have it.

There are stories about people who refused to show it, and ended with usually a broken window, its perfectly legal for them to do so, if you dont have it, you have to tell them, and they calmly arrest you. However if you put up an argument and refuse to show it, they **** your **** up, even if you do have the card and just didnt want to show it to them.

Its pretty funny if you ask me, but most of everyone is insured.

If you get into the situation you never know if the person has mental problems, especially if they're that moronic. Sure you can try and move him by force and hope he doesn't assault you but if he does that just wastes more of your own time. Many of those people have places to be and don't want to be even more late. If he attacks after you try to force him out you have to then talk to the cops, issue your statement, and maybe go to the hospital as opposed to doing nothing and letting the cops handle it.

Before doing that sobriety checkpoint ******** you actually have to know the laws of the state you're doing it in. Only a few states actually allow you to go through checkpoints without answering questions or showing ID. You also have to do it without being a ******* idiot. Don't expect the constitution to save your ass. Know the local law. This isn't me but I have done this in a state where it is legal not to comply with the officers for sobriety check points, but I'd never do it in the state I live in because I'd get arrested for being a ******* dumbass.
