It's a part of the game. If you don't like it don't play it...

I am considering playing it, however it seems exceptionally spooky, and I fear that if I play it I will develop an irrational fear of the dark and will be unable to move about without exceptional quantities of light...

What I want to know is if the whole place is hallways and monsters chase you on sight, how the **** do you get past them? You can't lock them in rooms cause they would notice you too fast and you can't really go around them in a tiny-ass hallway... Do they disappear after you get them to chase you and get away?

Tha ****? That's lame... How often do you run into monsters anyways? If there is a monster behind every ******* corner then that **** is lame...

So, it manages to be both predictable AND **************** scary? That's a noteworthy accomplishment in and of itself...

Doesn't seem like my kind of game though. I prefer games where it depends more on skills rather than just my reaction time to scary **** jumping out of nowhere and chasing me. Mostly, it's because my reaction time sucks. It takes me a while to process situations and think of a good response, and even if the only possible response is "RUN LIKE ****" I still wouldn't come to that conclusion fast enough to survive this game very long...

this isn't necessarily a "scary **** jumping out of nowhere" type game, you really gotta play it to see what it's like. It's not like F.E.A.R or Resident Evil, this is by far the scariest game i've ever played.

The only other horror game I've played is Resident Evil 3 (I think it was #3 anyways, not really sure). And I only played the first ten minutes of the game cause it scared the piss out of me at the beginning and I decided to play a snowboarding game instead. I've watched someone play F.E.A.R. but it was in a well-lit room. No other experience with horror games other than the occasional youtube video walk-through...

So yeah, probably WAY too scary for me. I think I will sleep instead...
