Well for large speakers, there klipsch, wharfedale, polk, among many others.

For headphones, theres audio-technica, AKG, beyerdynamic, sennheiser, shure, even sony has some better offerings, among many others.

www.headphone.com/learning-center/build-a-graph.php

This site will allow you to view the frequency response of headphones. basically, a flat frequency response is the best frequency response. the site defaults to the most well known for overall quality but by no means the best, the Sennheiser hd 800.

Personally, I have a pair of AKG K240 mkii's as my cans.

I honestly wasn't even going to buy a speaker system, I was just going to deal with my monitor speakers for a while and eventually get a really good headset. But my parents got me these for Christmas.

Mine headphones came broken straight away (constant noise sound no matter what volume), so did my keyboard (some of the keys randomly stop working). They refused to refund bot of it. And my brother got a mouse which stopped working after like month or so.

So you can't be surprised that I'm not a fan of Razer products.

Weird, I had these headphones for almost 2 years, and never did anything break. You should know that Logitech has a really good warranty policy (at least here in The Netherlands), I once bought a mouse (mx3200 combo with keyboard), and the mouse wouldn't connect anymore. It was a little more than half a year after warranty ended, and I sent them a mail, and they asked for a scan of the receipt, after I sent that, a new combo (with keyboard, mouse, the box and everything) arrived at my house two days later! I just ordered the new G700s (because I wanted more buttons), and I hope it's going to be just as good.
