Does the US not have 'E' as a grade?

Not really, we are silly like that.

One of my schools gave me an E grade. Apperantly it meant that I didn't do enough work/ I missed to much class to be given an actual grade.

Lowest is F, D is just as bad but you might get credit, the rest are ok until A.

In Sweden, E is good, C is very good and A is excellent basically. D and B are just inbetweens..

So everything is good, and everyone gets good grades?
Sounds pretty nice, I know where I am moving now.

No you can get F too. And you still have to get higher grades to get into "better" schools.

How do you not do good?
User avatar #39 to #32 - TexMex (02/23/2014) [-]
You don't do tests, don't attend the classes I guess?
#40 to #39 - koshana (02/23/2014) [-]
So if you're Swedish, you just pass? How do you fail?
User avatar #41 to #40 - TexMex (02/24/2014) [-]
By doing what I just said, don't do tests and don't attend the classes.
#42 to #41 - koshana (02/24/2014) [-]
What if you do bad on the tests though. You can fail that way, right?
User avatar #43 to #42 - TexMex (02/24/2014) [-]
Yeah you can, but last year I was literally on there 45% of time in one of my classes, failed the final test. Still got an E. Don't know why though.

Where I am we use 'E' instead of 'F'. (I live in Pennsylvania). It always confused me, because on TV it was always an 'F', but our lowest is 'E'.

Oh wow, that's weird.

I think it's like A,B,C,D are different grades of success while F stands for Flunk, I think. So it might as well have been A, B, C, D and I for Imbecile.

Yeah, I don't really get it either.
