You now, I really shouldn't argue this. The post is already -10 and counting, but I'll do it anyway.

The first cue that it was a sarcastic statement was that I imitated the OP, and the second was the 'ridiculous, right?' at the end. I would have used italics, but I was pretty sure people would get it. So maybe not heavy on the sarcasm, but it was definitely facetious.

Or if you want a more personal image sharing where people can't find the images without the link then you can use Dropbox.com for sharing images it is quite efficient.

I think it's possible to browse through the pics (not sure, never done that). I usually only upload screenshots or other "non-personal" pics, as you said, just to get a link.
There may be some privacy settings once you make an account, but then again, I don't have one so I can't confirm.

I think the point of this uhm, experiment, was to show how your mind creates the illusion of the four lines making a square moving together when the plastic cover was on.
Somehow it's not really working too well on that gif. Guess it needs to be larger for the illusion to properly work.

On top of that, it shows you how you want to see coordinated movement even when it doesn't exist -- with the post-its covering it, the shape appears to be circling clockwise, but when revealed, the lines are simply fluctuating towards and away from the center.
