As a californian I'd welcome the 50c aussie heat right now, compared to the 30F I'm getting.

Im much more equipped for superheat than I am for even a mild cold.

Everyone else in the US is sick of California bitching about having to put a coat on for once. Yeesh, suck it up.

5 days of 42+ C (110ish F)
And it is ******* humid heat not dry heat.
Meaning it is 42 c in the shade, wind the windows down in yor car and the faster you go the hotter it gets, even the air is ******* hot.

It doesn't do anything to your sweat glands mate. You cool down from sweat because it evaporates. Evaporation is a cooling process. So when it is humid out, less of your sweat will evaporate so you will lose the cooling effect that sweat is meant to give you.

I live in St. George Utah. It's not abnormal to get 120 in the summers. I love the dry heat. Drink a **** ton of water and it won't bother you.

"But you can bundle up in the cold."

My fingers can't do **** in the cold.

Also it's the middle of winter and the high today was 72

I haven't walked outside since this hellish weather started, only for a brief spell today and I tell you I damn near spontaneously combust.

I feel like one of the only people in the country who's actually enjoying this 40 degree weather.
But then again, I've always dealt with the cold better than the heat. In the cold, you can bundle up with more clothes or put on a blanket. With the heat...well...you can only get so naked.

Imo as a Wisconsinfag in winter, I'd rather be cold than hot, because with being cold I could just add layers (sweatshirts, jackets, heavy clothing, etc.), you can only remove only so many layers to stay cool in hot weather. To us what's hot is anything above 85*F, that may not seem hot to Australians let alone southern Americans, but to us THAT'S HOT! It's all about adaptation, we're like Nords from Skyrim.
