I didn't thumb you down because you're itumblr, I thumbed you down because this gets posted on literally any post where someone "gets told". It was sort of funny once, but seeing it 80 times a day..... ****

i thought that was ******** . wasn't Hitler expecting British army to cross the bridge, and Winston Churchill made rubber cars with sounds in them making an engine sounds. when Hitler's bombers saw the cars near the bridge and the fake decoy tanks moving towards the bridge, they were determined British was coming from the bridge. and then Hitler built more turrets there and blablabla, but wasn't it British who fooled German though? or am i wrong? or both things happened?

We should just do war like that. Give everyone wooden guns and have them go "pew pew" and fall down.

Sooo, theoretically, there is no problem in getting some good chisels, cutting out any patten of your liking and making a completely custom, ornamental shelf, table or even a purely decorative sculpture.

******* awesome.

This seems like the sort of thing the news reported, but didn't actually happen. Why bother flying a wooden bomb to Germany, eh? eh eh?

Haha, I hadn't heard that one before.

what? no. my grandfather flew planes in ww2 and i remember him saying they bombed fake air fields frequently with actual bombs. like at least 2-3 times before the us government realized they had been juped.

Are we forgetting the United States built an entire town on top of a Seattle based Boeing manufacturing plant? An entire town.

so? wouldn't the wooden bomb just shatter into a crap load of pieces? making indistinguishable for the Germans to not get that it was a wooden bomb hence not get the lols?

Well really that depends on how dense the wood was. If they made it out of one of those giant redwood's cores then it would be massive and dense and probably wouldn't break up.

However even if it did break up, it wouldn't just suddenly turn into a different material. It would still be wood.

all the wood was later used in the ovens.

In England, we built giant radar towers as part of the Chain Home, and then built fake wooden towers nearby, which were distractions.

If they didn't use mosquitoes to do it then they will have ruined the trifecta of wooden warfare.
