Star Wars fucking sucks. George Lucas is a hack director whose only really decent film series was Indiana Jones. I remember back at Valley of the Moon I stole someone's DVD player and found the extended cut of Star Wars just behind a book shelf (y'know the version with all that shitty CGi)
I watched 10 minutes of it and turned it off. I just...don't understand the appeal of this. Not even just Star Wars but other shit like Hunger Games, Eragon, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit all of it is trash

But it was slow and painfully padded and really not just very interesting at all, the writing felt weak and uninspiring and there wasn't any feeling put into it or coming out of it

ohemgeezus (12/18/2015) [-] I mean yeah it's not amazing, but I'm saying as a movie it was enjoyable. It wasn't as great as LOTR, but still enjoyable to watch. The overuse of CGI scenes was idiotic, but it was a decent send off to a great LOTR-Hobbit franchise
