I hate it when someone asks me what religion I am.

I don't get offended or anything, I love it when people are interested in my opinions or moral views and such.

But it always fucking goes like this:
"What religion are you?"
I haven't chosen one.
"Oh, so you're an atheist?"
No. That would mean I don't believe in a god.
"Oh, so you're agnostic?"
No. Agnostics can't decide what god they believe in, but they still believe in a god.
"Well you have to be something!"

No.

No I fucking don't.

I have the right not to choose, and I choose nothing. I've looked into plenty of religions, and I love a lot of their teachings and morals, but I can't find myself to believe in many of them. I don't want to be an atheist, because even though I don't believe in these things and find them highly questionable, they haven't all been completely disproven, and therefore could still be true. I also don't want to pin myself to an idealism, like Humanism, because that would set in stone my belief system. I don't want to be labeled by a teaching, I want to be myself.

Here's what I'm going to do:

I'm going to live my life being as good of a person to others as possible. I'm going to try and live out my dreams of being married to a woman I love, and doing a career I love that is self-sufficient. Then when I die, I'm going to face whatever god exists, and tell him to prove to me that I don't deserve heaven. All gods are killable, any god that has ever existed in any story was only immortal by natural means of age. So if he wants to send me to hell, I won't go down without a fight. Or, I'll just rot in the ground devoid of feeling, or whatever the hell else happens. Hopefully after I'm dead, you all can keep the earth alive until we go out in a blaze of glory when the sun explodes. I think that would be the ultimate testament of the greatness of man.

Don't let people tell you you have to label yourself. They only do it so they can judge you.

So you're simply undecided then. What's so hard to understand about that lol? If you can have an undecided major in college and be undecided on your political beliefs then your religious beliefs can be the same.

It's especially stupid because a religion is an organisation of people who share similar beliefs. For some reason, people either think that a religion is just a set of beliefs or that one must be a member of a religious organisation. The latter of those really upsets me because it shows that the person doesn't believe in individual thought; that it is impossible for you to create your own set of values, beliefs, philosophies, etc.

I'd rather people go out in a blaze of glroy when a galaxy collides with ours. That'd be way more fun.
Also, I fucking hate that. Some kid asks,"What religion are you?" "nothing" "Omg how can you be athiest I'm telling your girlfrayn becuz we r both da sam relgion n dat maks us pefect fo ech oter"
Spelling mistakes to show the idiocy increasing with each uttered word.
