Idiocy aside, I'm an anime fan, and I too lately have found that most anime is rubbish, both english and Japanese voice acting can be terrible, the plots repetitive, the plots lately uncreative, and worst of all, uncreative and cliche characters...

My suggestion to you would be to watch Jormungand. Pretty original plot, interesting characters, good voice acting.
