So about a month ago I got a speeding ticket. first one 6 points no big deal I guess. Just recently got another ticket while passing a car. yes I know you cannot exceed the speed limit while passing but he was doing 5 under and I would have been hit by a car if I had done 5 faster than him to pass. so another ticket and another 6 points. Catch is that second offence, points get doubled so my license gets suspended for 6 months. feels bad man. guess its my own fault but now I have no way of getting to school and work (im 17 btw). decide to try and get an occupational license so I can still go to school and work. turns out that while I am paying my dad to insure my car in his name (so its cheaper) and while I have just bought the car and while I am trying to keep up with repairs and while I am paying for a cell phone bill, now I need an insurance company to grant me a bond to be eligible to get the occupational license. SO on top of all of my other expenses, I now have to pay 1700 FOR SIX MONTHS! while I have the occupational license. Also if the state says I need to keep the bond, which they can do, i need to continue paying 330 a month for as long as they tell me too. so I have no money to do this and no other way to get to school or work (parents working full time and I live to far out in the country for public trans) so fml I have no fucking idea what to do. FML
How the fuck did your first ticket still give you six points? My first ticket was for going 25 over the speed limit and it got lowered to a non-moving violation.
You should have also taken a driving course for the lower points.
