the good ol' days? umm... technically, reach is before all the other halos? but i get what you mean... really, its just 1 powerful shot instead of 3 weak shots now. makes it more a precision weapon. too bad i couldnt use one then; and still cant use one now XD

The Battle Rifle could out fight the DMR by far any day. Sure the DMR gives more powerful single shots, but you got a better shot out of the Battle Rifle's 3 round burst, not to mention you could pop a chain of shots off on your opponent's head where as the DMR doesn't allow you to do the same because the space between firing was increased, and note that the movement in Reach is far greater with Sprint and the Dodge skill.

I prefer the DMR too. 4 shots to the bosy and 1 to the head kills. Plus you dont have to worry about part of the burst missing

I was just playing reach
the button layout SUCKS.
yeah, I realize that its like "back to the roots of halo 2" or whatever, but the people buying reach have been playing Halo 3 nonstop like, ALL the time...
we are kind of used to the button layout. Its hard to learn a new one, then have to revert whenever you play halo 3 again...

Switch your reach controls to "recon" It has a B melee and same gernade controls etc.
