FWIW, According to their website, Dr. Pepper is owned by Dr. Pepper/7 UP, Inc., and I think 7UP came out first, so 7UP technically owns Dr. Pepper

I work for Pepsi. Pepsi & Coke are not by the same company and Dr. Pepper is it's own company, not owned by Coke or PepsiCo (Pepsi).
Dr. Pepper is sold a lot of places that Pepsi is sold at because Pepsi & Dr. Pepper do not see each other as rivals.

In some markets coke and Pepsi distribute DR Pepper but DR Pepper is a seperate company.

ok, most people don't know this but coke and pepsi are actually the same company! look at a can of pepsi and a can of coke - they both say product of pepsico........

dr pepper is not a coke or pepsi, they belong to the DR. Pepper Snapple Group
