do you know how much skill it takes to be a pro football player? A LOT. football players have to be smart, fast, strong, and learn how to play under pressure. a football player can do a science experiment but id like to see a scientist learn 50plays and try taking down a 6'4 260lbs linebacker.

being a pro athlete in nearly any sport means that u have no life, other than your sport. to me thats the same as being a nerd. in sports you never accomplish anything that truly means something, or something tells that you made a difference to anything of importance to anyone. in the end you're only playing a goddam GAME

how about winning a championship? accomplishing something youve worked all your life for? plus all the people that supported you and your team through it all im pretty sure it makes a difference to them . . . putting one chemical into another doesnt really effect anyone. whens the last time you saw whole cities parading through the streets because of a scientist? never. all im saying is its disrespectful to say it takes more skill to write a book or to play an instrument than it does to play a sport professionally
