"How else was the human race supposed to start off? If there was no incest it would've been just their family and that would be the end."

Um, evolution? - Just sayin...
Thumbs down me if you please, I know what I believe in, a world without incest!

Why is it that when I post religious stuff I get 1 thumbs up and 100 thumbs down? I even posted what is drawn on the chalk board like 1 month ago and it has negative thumbs up.

Religion is a funny thing, and the previous coment on Spirituality and Religion was right. However, I DO believe in God, although not in any traditional sense. I beieve in Jesus, too, and I believe that ebing the person he was would not want us to waste our lives kneeling down and begging and groveling and humiliating ourselves and supressing who we are to worship him. God doesn't want our lives, he doesn't want to us to constantly try to force our religion on other people. That's why I don't. U'll talk to people about it if they ask. I won't walk up and say (metaphorically, of course) "I has a baseball." I'll walk up to somone who asked about what I believe and is genuinely intrested and say (metaphorically again) "There is a baseball."

I feel the same way, man. I live close to a "Free Evangelical" church, and every month I get annoying fundies and foot-washers knocking on my door and asking for money for a church I don't go to (which I tell them, and they blatantly ignore) and when I say no they tell me I'll burn in hell. I love to debate **** like religion, but when people try to force their beliefs onto others, they GENUINELY THINK that their religion isn't a belief but a complete reality and truth that everybody must know about........I have a mental list of witty retorts to spout at their stupid asses, but I really wish I didn't need to.
#120 - anonymous (11/22/2009) [+] (7 replies)
I see no point in not believing in God...if i am wrong, I die, thats it...if an atheist is wrong, they go to hell and burn for eternity...LOGIC!!!

For all you atheists futilely trying to reason with Christians and their "superior logic", just remember this- " Time makes more converts than reason." -Thomas Paine

William Clifford

1. "If a man, holding a belief which he was taught in childhood or persuaded of afterwards, keeps down and pushes away any doubts which arise about it in his mind, purposely avoids the reading of books and the company of men that call in question or discuss it, and regards as impious those questions which cannot easily be asked without disturbing it -- the life of that man is one long sin against mankind."
