Hey swordman. Guess what. I've got L4D and L4D2 on my Mac, I also have WoW, CoD 4, 5, and MF 2, and Half Life and Half Life 2 installed on my computer. And I don't need the disc for any of them. So let me tell you this. Macs are the best for offices, telemarketing, and many other business things. And contrary to popular belief, macs are compatible with TONS of things. So you shut up. a) also available on a pc and will run perfectly on any pc costing as much as that mac you have
b) web browsing

I AM SO SICK of this debate. So- the two arguments I come across most against macs are- "They're expensive" yes, true. they are. However, this is for a reason. Macs come preloaded with EVERYTHING. garageband, a movie editor, a webcam with A LOAD of kickass effects, a blazingly fast processor, itunes, ect, ect ad nauseum. In addition, they are designed to allow the LEAST POSSIBLE time waste with annoying rebooting. I used to use a pc. but then bought a mac. point still remains. if you've never used an alienware computer, you are not entitled to complain.

besides, Macs are dumbed-down and incompatible with anything useful(e.g. AutoCAD and ProE). Apple makes up for this by adding fun yet useless gadgets such as garage band, which have very little to no functional value.

oh and one more thing. my Alienware takes literally fifteen seconds to start up windows 7, I shit you not.

and just so you know, all of the business stuff you just mentioned I can do on my PALMTOP.

macs may be compatible with tons of things, but very few of them are useful in any way.

AutoCAD and ProE, the two BIGGEST drafting drafting programs out there and essential to any kind of engineering or design work, only work on PCs. They don't even run on bootcamp, but that's no surprise, since the mac couldn't handle the power necessary to run either program(also because bootcamp doesn't run ANYTHING right in the first place).
