I confirm this; most of the information presented reflect accurate estimates. There are at least two mistakes: (1) Puffins are also flightless birds that swim and (2) whales are mammals and are not known to jump.

I do believe it was supposed to say "land mammals," since I think that was how it was written the other times I've seen this piece of information.

Actually, about 90% of this stuff matches up with information I've come across in other places.
In fact, the only one I remember seeing that was blatantly wrong was the one that stated that "The penguin is the only bird that can swim, but not fly." This is incorrect, as Puffins are also flightless birds that can swim. Contrary to general belief, the puffin is not just a type of penguin, but is its own species of bird.
