People made up stories about Jesus doing miracles, or he done something that people exaggerated more and more until they started saying that he healed some dude so he could walk again, after like 20 years or whatever. of u picking the rite one is 1 to the - power of a number so beyond that statisticaly it can not happen (the number is like 270 or sumthing, im not really sure, i can get back to you on that if u want). also, the gospels were completed by the apostles about thirty years after Jesus' death. not a suffiecient time for myth to develop (in fact a ducation of about 2 full generations is wat it takes to distort historical fact). also these were written by pepole who actaully witnessed Jesus and even gave up their lives for his cost. they believed it, and they got wat they knew rite from Jesus. so, that means either Jesus was either a Lord, liar, or lunitic. but that just brings us back to the whole prophecy thing... ur basic ? is 'y is there evil in the world'. it is not because God is abondaning us, its because there is a lack of him. there is no such think as darkness, just a lack of lite. his children choose to not accept Him, hence the reason for cancer, diease, murder, and everything that is not from Him. and he has not stopped it because he is a God that has decided to give us free will, which means he will let us make the choice not to choose Him. he has revealed Himself thro his creation. and as for your last ?, He is there when you need Him most, but sometimes you have to tear down before you can rebuild. so instead of Him trying to patch everything up, u need to tear down, let everything go, and ask Him to rebuild. hope that helps :D

My grandmother loved her church and would do anything for it and God, yet she got colon cancer as well as breast cancer where he had to get a breast amputated so it wouldn't spread.
