Such silly names. Kind of like calling a cigarette a fag. And the crapper being called the "lou"

its spelt 'loo' lol

Well, it's loo and it's much better than calling it a "porta john". Over in Ireland, we call it the bog. And it's "feg", not fag.

porta john is short for portable. But they call them port-o-let now. It's called a john, in honor of it's inventor, John Crapper. In Vietnam, they call it WC, which is supposed to be water closet, but they call it Washington City. We all have funny names for the pooping place. I'm just curious as to why it goes from finding Waldo, Wallace, and Wally.

Don't know about you, but I'd prefer Wally to Waldo any day. And as for the 'loo' issue, I didn't grow up calling an arse a 'fanny'. Talk about silly names...

who uses fanny? It's a butt, bottom, or an ass. Unless it's used to describe a pack. Can't really call it an arse pack, can you?
And here, the book is called "Where's Waldo" so we're calling in accordance with the copyright. I'm surprised to hear he goes by another name. Kind of like that famous movie over here, Harold Potter. Why do you guys call him Harry?

I was simply stereotyping Americans. I'm quite aware that 'fanny' is rarely used. I watch a lot of Family Guy.

same over here in Britain

Awesome. I was still confused as fuck when I first saw it as 'Waldo'. I was like "Is that Wally's evil/psychotic twin or something?"
