God is for idiot children that grew up not understanding the difference between figurative metaphor and literal and historical documentation. Even if they grew up and realised how much of an idiot they where being, they still regarded it as too late.
This causes alot of problems as the world becomes full of idiot children either to stupid to differentiate between whats real and not and idiots to proud to admit they where wrong.
The fact that the two use their existence as fuel for their inefficiency to loose their ego or to develop common sense is one of the biggest FAILS of human existence

Differentiate between punishment and consequence. The law is there, and God gave us free will to choose to obey or disobey, and told us what the consequences were if we were to disobey. It's all a matter of choice, and in modern society it seems to be the aim of all secular thinkers to do away with consequences for your actions. Thus you get things like the abortion debate.
