the wireless controllers most only work if nothings in the way. If the wire has the power to go through solid steel it would still work if it did that.

ya umm i can do shit on the ps3 from a dif house about 300 feet away i cant do much cus i cant see what im doing but it works fine i no need for a wire so wireless is better if you ask me

Probably stole his 20 inch flat screen lcd hdtv too huh? He's got a wired controller because the person who made the comic had to take into account the audience who will be seeing the cartoon. More people recgonize the game console with a wired controller then not, and but judging the article this drawing looks kind of old.
