Doesn't matter how awesome these systems become, they just can't compare to childhood memories.

My parents died before i got a ps1 and then i got one and it was soooo great it was like i had a family again but then i realized i had no family or a ps1 and it was all a dream.

I was raised on everything but X-Box.

I used to play a Sega Dreamcast ! I had such fun games for it.. Oh, the memory. Now I got a PS3, and altough it's good, it's just not the same.

ahh playstation, i remember it was my 5th birthday and my parents bought me the playstation. with crash bandicoot, mission impossible and mortal combat, i bought more games but then HUZZAH the ps2 comes out. on christmas 2000 i happily played spider-man and gta 2.
now here is the ps3 and its fun as ever, we will conclude this story in the next 5 years........

Man, the old nintendo systems (N64, SNES and NES) were the real shit, you could throw a nuclear holocaust at them and you could still beat the crap outta bowser whenever you want.

Xbox 360: Halo, Skate, Cod, Sniper: Ghost Warrior, Alan Wake, etc...

PS3: GTA 4, Little BIG Planet, DJ Hero, NFS, Killzone, Killzone 2, etc...

I realize that some of the games are for both systems, but seriously...

Shut the fuck up about the PS3 having no games... most of the people don't even own a PS3 if they say that.

i didn't have my dad around to teach me how to shoot guns or curse obscenely, thats where the playstation stepped in

I learned how to read from Super Mario 64... I had a walkthrough of the game printed out so that if I was having trouble finding a star I would ask my dad to read it to me. Well, I couldn't find that damn star in tick-tock clock and I was totally stumped. I asked my dad to read me the walkthrough but he told me he was busy. I said, "Fine! I'll read it myself!" and I did. No idea how, but I did.

i would buy an xbox 360 because they have some pretty good exclusives like halo and gears of war, but im too worried about them getting red rings. for me, it really comes down to performance and playstation has and always will beat xbox at that. plus what the fuck is up with 70 bucks a year for internet? im not trying to start a console war but seriously what the fuck
