i believe that life was created by chance, but that doesnt mean a diety couldnt exist. for all i know a god couldve created the universe 14 billion years ago, but then again that theroy would be flawed because the bible states that god created the earth in 7 days. though it more believeable that a diety created the universe 14 billion years ago than a person writing something that he thought was true, and millions of people believe in.

Earthdidn't come together the right distance, life adapted to conditions. There are organisms that live in horrible conditions (temperature etc), akin to other planets. There are also suspected fossils of bacteria on other planets within our solar system.

Religion was first created as a way to explain the world when science couldn't. It also explained life after death and provided rules to give order to the average person's life, such as do not kill, rape, marry more than one person, etc. Finally, it gave them an all powerful (albeit imaginary) deity to pray to for hope, strength, food, etc.

The Big Bang theory does not posit our Universe coming from nothing. The only thing that hypothesises that our 'current' Universe was created ex nihilo is religion, not science.
Religion states that everything in this universe came from nothing.

If the Universe isn't infinite, then either way it came from nothing.

Technically nothing either way, but it's more logical to think that God created it from nothing instead of it just coming from nothing on it's own.

Then you would have to explain where/ how your God originated.

God is God, He wasn't created. Since there was no time just like there was nothing, He was always there. "He was always there" is hard to wrap your mind around, but less so when you consider that there was no time.
