I shit my pants when I stopped reading and finally niticed all the creepy background pics...

Also, changing a few cells DNA would not result in super-muscles overnight, you would have to wait until ALL your muscle cells died and were replaced with the new stuff...

yes, i know that, i never said overnight.

once again, old stuff, but the ideas still hold, and the perefction of the idea is still yonks off. but there are pigs with human organs right now for transplantaition.

its just a matter of time before private concerns get at it, i give it fifty years

I don't think anything more than visual mods will ever be used commercially... Offering new DNA to make you stronger or smarter would be like handing out steroids to anyone who wanted it...

as if it doesen't happen already.

but still, visual mods would be fun non the less, i think a more inherent change to our instincts would serve us well as a species

Well, it doesn't happen LEGALLY... And genetic modifications would be kinda hard to slip past law enforcement...

true.

but of course the military would be all over it, how else to gain an advantage then in cheap improvments to the thousands of standard soldiers

How else? We have remote controlled planes... We could just bomb-nuke the shit out of them...

nuclear war will never work, even Kim Jong understands that

Nuclear war is like violence: It only works if you use it!

point is, it works a bit too well

Didn't know it was possible for something to work TOO well...

ok, a nuclear bomb, a single trident warhead, will kill hundreds of thousands of people. alright, great, that's bad, but good for a weapon

the problem arises with the fallout. it renders the ground sterile, the trees dead, and the people cancered

So it's like an AoE attack that has a debuff as well? SWEET!
