Let's see, Doctor Who episodes that are so terrible they are never discussed (spoilered because long post and actual spoilers):
Series 1 - "Aliens of London/World War Three" (Farting aliens take over the government.)
Series 2 - "Love & Monsters" (Pictured in the OP. The main character also gets into a relationship with the blowjob slab at the end of the episode.)
Series 3 - Tie between "Daleks in Manhatten/Evolution of the Daleks" (Dalek-human hybrids and pig people.) and "The Lazarus Experiment" (The most terrible cgi you will ever see in your life, starring Mark "Gaypiss" Gatiss.)
Series 4 - "The Stolen Earth/Journey's End" (A huge, fan-wanking *********** where the Doctor gives Rose a sex slave human version of himself at the end, although some people like it for these exact reasons.)
Specials - Every single one except "The Waters of Mars" (Which was awesome.)
Series 5 - "Victory of the Daleks" (Power Ranger Daleks, this episode has been wiped from the memory of everyone who saw it.)
Series 6 - "Night Terrors" (Just... what the **** . I don't know how to describe this.)
Series 7 - "The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe" (Technically a Christmas special, but also technically part of S7. This series had a lot of bad to mediocre episodes but this one is never ever spoken of. Trees have souls.)
Series 8 - "In the Forest of the Night" (The planet defends itself from an on-coming solar flare by suddenly growing trees ******* everywhere overnight. Everyone forgets that the trees were ever there after they disappear, not because they have their memories wiped, but because they just happen to forget. Also the little girls' sister was hiding in a bush for some reason.)

i really dont see why people hate, journey's end so much, i mean the sex slave at the end was.... dumb.... but other than that I thought it was a pretty good two-parter, i also dont get the love for "the end of time" the one where we have to watch the same damn clip of the master laughing every 5 seconds or so and are treated to jokes such as " the master is wearing a dress...." as well as being cock teased with time lords, then seeing them for about 0.2 seconds before the master realizes that friendship has been the real treasure all along, and sacrifices himself...

I believe that The Unicorn and the Wasp fits better for series 4. I mean, As bad as some people find it, Journeys End is still talked about,.

Hm, yeah, you've got a point.

I enjoyed that special in the desert with the bus.

Agree with your list for the most part. Doctor Who isn't exactly a 10/10 show, so wouldn't look so down on some of these.
What I'm mostly pissed about is Clara. I loved her in the begin and the entire mystery concept. A lot of potential. Then I feel the writers just gave up. I also hate all the love/drame ******** . Not against some love or drama, but I hope you get what I mean.

Yeah, I guess it wasn't that bad.

Well, you certainly can't expect much, although last series was very good (that is if you ignore Danny and the two bad episodes, you know the ones). It was quite an improvement from S7, that's for sure.
What? Really? She had no character back then because the writers were focusing too much on making her a huge mystery to bother giving her a personality. S8 Clara was a great improvement because now she is more than the "Impossible Girl." She has flaws, quirks, not to mention how Jenna Coleman's acting became stunning good compared to how she was in S7 (I think that's mostly due to her actually having something to work with rather than being in the background all the time), and her chemistry with Capaldi is amazing. Of course, she did get pushed more to the focus of the series, probably more so than the Doctor, which was a bad thing in my opinion, and her relationship with Danny was just terrible and annoying. But over all I've got to say she is much more of a character than she was in S7.

Danny and all the cheddar is what ruined it for me. I was imagining some great adventure with a potential best companion. Didn't live up to expectations.

Completely understandable. I managed to look past Danny, so I guess that's why I enjoyed Clara so much. haha

Series 4 - "The Stolen Earth/Journey's End" these episodes would be better if not for the ending treating the daleks like idiots
User avatar #95 to #37 - delphine (08/07/2015) [-]
Dude, the Daleks in general are idiotic. They were created when Dr. Who was so low budget in the 70's they threw **** together to make the costumes. The laser beam thing was literally a toilet plunger they spray painted. But at least in those early episodes, the series was meant to be campy.

At least one of the Daleks actually managed to hit the Doctor. kek

You forgot the one about the moon being an egg and the doctor suddenly goes "I can't interfere." Oh and then the moon hatches and a giant space moth ***** out a new moon off screen five seconds after birth. It's so bad, it's insulting.

That whole ******* season was ridiculously bad.
User avatar #64 to #35 - arialynx (08/06/2015) [-]
Seriously? The only ones that sucked were "Kill the Moon" and "In the Forest of the Night." Everything else was average or above. I guess you can't please everyone...

The season premier was just all right, the Robin Hood one was crap, the finale was crap and anything about Clara and Danny's relationship made me want to gag. It's like the writer's just gave up.
#98 to #69 - anon (08/07/2015) [-]
theres a reason Danny didn't survive the season......
User avatar #70 to #69 - arialynx (08/06/2015) [-]
If you consider that the series premier was also the first real episode with Capaldi in it as the Doctor, and that he was going through the normal "post-regeneration crazies," it was an episode that exceeded expectations. There were also a lot of great scenes like Clara's breath holding scene, the restaurant scene with Clara and Twelve, and the scene where Twelve confronts the baddie near the end.

"Robot of Sherwood" was a fun episode. It wasn't meant to be taken seriously whatsoever and if you went into that episode with the mindset that it was supposed to be a fun, jokey episode then it was a solid 7/10. Also this was an episode written by Gatiss who is basically known for writing bad to average Doctor Who episodes, so this was probably one of his best episodes yet. Robin's and Twelves' banter was great and got me giggling a few times, and Clara was a total qt. The only terrible thing about the episode that I can think of was the ridiculous arrow shot at the end that would have never hit in reality, not to mention that even if it did hit it would not have given the spaceship any more fuel to leave Earth's atmosphere.

"Dark Water" was an amazing episode as a standalone, but tied with the disappointment of "Death in Heaven" it's understandable about why you think it was crap. Although compared with other series finales, this was one of the better ones. At least they killed Danny.

Can't really argue in favor of Clara and Danny's relationship, it was pretty ****** . But you can't let that drag down your opinion of every episode that had Danny in it, that seems a bit unfair.

I think saying that the writers just gave up is a bit harsh, especially considering they had a whole set of new writers on top of the old ones. Peter Harness (who wrote "Kill the Moon") was terrible, but he's new so it's a bit early to say that he just gave up, no? And what about Jamie Mathieson? Did he just write "Mummy on the Orient Express" and "Flatline" without a single care in the world? Those two episodes were extremely enjoyable and had minimum Danny.

Sorry for the wall, you don't have to respond if you don't want to, I just like an argument.

It comes down to opinion but I found nothing compelling in the majority of those episodes. I liked Mummy on the Orient and the bank robbery but honestly the whole season just bored me compared to the past few.

Well alright, you're right, everyone has their own opinion and that's ok.

Looks like a video game from 2003

it does, and this show has never been about seamless SFX, and one of the only shows in the history of my life that I have ignored the pseudo-passable cgi in favor of the story and acting. That creature may not be photorealistic, but it was goddamn ************ cool and one of the best episodes of Doctor Who imo.
User avatar #24 to #18 - Sterski (08/06/2015) [-]
That last one will always be one of my least favourites mainly because of the truly atrocious child acting.
Also the entire plot being retarded.
