Let me get weaboo on your ass for a minute motherfucker. You see, the post is about a Japanese television show which originally started in the 1970's called Kamen Rider, and it's been going strong ever since then, save for a dark stagnant period in the 90's. The show Power Rangers started as Super Sentai to rival Kamen Rival, it too has been going strong. As an added bit of information, both Super Sentai and Kamen Rider have crossovers with one another occasionally. Recently they released a movie in Japan featuring ever Super Sentai team and Kamen Rider. It was pretty badass, If you feel like watching Kamen Rider. I would recommend starting with W, or Double as it is also called.

What's Kamen Rider about?

From the wikipedia page. The series takes place in a world plagued by Shocker, a mysterious terrorist organization. To further its plans for world domination, Shocker recruited its agents through kidnapping, turning their victims into mutant cyborgs and, ultimately, brainwashing them. However, one victim named Takeshi Hongo escaped just before the final brainwashing. With his sanity and moral conscience intact, Hongo battled Shocker's minions as the grasshopper-themed altered human (改造人間 kaizō ningen?) superhero Kamen Rider. Another victim of the altered human process, freelance photographer Hayato Ichimonji, became Kamen Rider 2 after Kamen Rider saved him from Shocker's brainwashing. Assisted by motorcycle race team manager Tobei Tachibana and FBI agent Kazuya Taki, the Kamen Riders fought in both solo and partnered missions against Shocker and its successor organization, Gel-Shocker." That was the original, now it typically changes every season with a new idea for theme and cast. Sometime, usually in movies they'll have the old rider meet the new one. Also, yeah it's guys, typically more as the series progresses that fight evil and get stronger.

W was amazing, but my personal favorite is Kiva. Also, while I know Decade only got mixed reviews, I feel like it is a good introduction to the entire concept behind Kamen Rider, so I would recommend that as well. Also I don't think it's nearly as bad as people say it is; most of the problems with that show lie in Tsukasa being the main character, as he is just band, but the show itself wasn't that bad I don't think.
