I really liked Atton's backstory. Given high enough charisma/persuade you can talk him into becoming a Jedi or Dark Jedi.

what is this, a D&D character?

Yes, kind of.
KotOR is based off of D&D elements.
Same attributes, same sort of "roll" system for hits and stuff.
As for Atton, he's a character you met early in the game who is a smuggler, he's on the run from his past as a Jedi Hunter. In the whole lawful, neutral, etc thing, I would say he is chaotic or neutral good. Unless you turn him to the darkside in which case he is neutral or chaotic evil.

No, it's Knight of the Old Republic 2. DnD isn't the only game with RPG elements.

Knights of the Old Republic games are D&D based, to the point of having the same attributes. So yes, he is technically a D&D character.

Dude, the KOTOR games are ******* AMAZING!
Like seriously, the RPG elements, great storytelling and unique characters make it loads of fun. It's one of the classics, best Star Wars games out there in my opinion.

Might as well get them on Steam. They're old enough games that they'll run on just about ANY computer made within the last 5 or 10 years, and they're only $9.99 each. Plus with KOTOR2 on Steam you'll be able to download the Reconstruction mod, which is a must in my opinion.

carthonasi, you have some explaining to do.
Why do you like Revan? Is it because he helped you get over the "death" of your family?

I'm still waiting for Revan to come back from the unknown regions. :/
But yeah, Revan helped me reunite with my son so that was nice.

Sith generally don't have pleasant deaths, it doesn't stop them from becoming Force Ghosts.
Ajunta Paul was torn apart, he still has a force ghost, Freedon Nadd was only half a body, and he was a ghost.

Well in Star Wars, yeah, they do. Both Yoda and Obi Wan died without leaving corpses, and just simply became one with the Force. Like comment #28 says though, it's possible Revan escaped into fold space, because Revan is just that badass.

Probably because they weren't as cool as Revan. Revan achieved something that almost no Jedi or Sith has ever achieved, absolute balance in the Force, so I'd imagine that would let him do all kinds of cool ****. Like explode on death, or escaping to fold space, or whatever.

I don´t know too much about Star Wars (other than the movies)...but wasn´t Qui Gon Jin (is that how you write him) supposed to have been the strongest force-wielder ever? I heard a friend talk about it sometime ago and he usually knew his Star Wars-Stuff pretty well.

Qui-Gon Jinn... strongest force user ever... hahaha... haha... ha... but no.
starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sith_Emperor
Tenebrae was powerful enough to mind-control 8,000 Sith Lords and use them to suck the force energy out of an entire planet. He could kill people with the force as early as 6, can use the force to bend time and reality itself, and lived for over 5,000 years across multiple bodies.

Ah, yeah, then I probably just understood that wrong. I thought I heard something about him being able to completely control the whole entity of the force after he entered it or something...but as I said, I really don´t know a thing about Star Wars so I might have gotten it wrong.
Ah, yeah, this dude. I remember his name from a discussion on some forum where people were fighting out between the strongest character from the SW-Universe and the strongest Character in the World of the Wheel of Time - Series.

No he wasn't. He learned the secret of becoming one with the force when you die from the whells and taught this secret to Yoda and Obi Wan, but he wasn't the strongest force-wielder. I would guess that would be either Anakin or the emporer himself.

I'd like to think so. It would take way more than an inquisitor and some Imperial hire-ons to kill Revan. The entire forces of the Star Forge itself couldn't stop Revan.

There's speculation that he didn't actually die, but escaped into fold space, which is apparently what that explosion was at the end of his fight.
Personally, I'd like to think that rather than him dying off entirely.

Ah, yep, you're right, found this on the star wars wiki
"After three hundred years as the Emperor's prisoner, Revan was released by agents of the Republic and the Jedi Order. Soon after his liberation, Revan was visited by the spirit of Meetra Surik. He then realized that it was her presence that helped him to endure the centuries of captivity. After Surik disappeared, a determined Revan vowed to complete what was their ultimate objective—the destruction of the Sith."
