Movies - Requiem for a Dream, Fight Club, City of God, Se7en, Léon the Professional, Mr. Nobody, The Place Beyond the Pines, V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas, The Prestige, In Bruges, Happiness, Evil Ed, American History X, C.R.A.Z.Y, Cinema Paradiso, Mouth to Mouth, Amelie Poulain, Everything is Illuminated(The guy from Gogol Bordello plays in this one), Green Street Hooligan.

Trilogy - Ginger Snaps, Matrix, Millenium, LotR, Evil Dead, Night/Day/Twilight Watch(the third isn't out yet), Highlander, Start Wars, and The Cornetto Trilogy are all good trilogies.

Some horror/gore or simply movie that a really quite hard to watch - Somos Lo Que Hay, Cannibal Holocaust, A Serbian Film, Hard Candy, Salo or the 120 Days of Sodom, Dans Ma Peau, and, to some extent, Once Were Warriors.

These are just a few movies that poped into my mind right now, but you can spend some time finding what type of movie you like and then download everything you see that is close to this.

A list of some of my favorite films that i don't often hear people talk about or mention in their favorites.

Pandorum, Crank, Moonrise Kingdom, Carnage, Dead Snow, A Scanner Darkly, Oldboy, Some Guy Who Kills People, The Jerk, Jacob's Ladder, Warrior, Spartacus, Kon-Tiki, The Iceman, Kingdom of Heaven, Europa Report, Ip Man, Harry Brown, The International, Shoot Em' Up, 9, Road to Perdition, Hanna, Safe, The Last Stand, Blade Runner, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Collector, My Way, Killer Elite, Training Day, Collateral, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns part 1 and 2, In Bruges, Man On The Moon, The Guard, Interview With A Hitman.

Some of these are "bad" action movies but I love them because they aren't all mental and deep and complex and all that. They don't pretend to be. They just make a damned action movie. Never understood why people can't accept films for what they are instead of holding stupid expectations that are usually based on movies of a different style and genre completely...anyways, i love these flicks and I promise that you will add at least 5 of these to your list of faves.

I recommend to you Black Mirror. It' s a British drama series about how technology is ruining our civilization. It has only 2 series and 3 parts each but it' s really great. Then there is How not to live your life also British one of the best comedic series I have ever saw.

If you haven't given it a reasonable shot, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has a following for a reason. Try it before discounting.

Supernatural, Dexter, American Dad, Futurama, Breaking Bad, Archer, Top Gear (british version).

I know you said you don't much like anime, but Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Avatar: The Last Airbender are utterly superb.

Have fun!

In no particular order,

Bones, Adventure Time, Fight Club, Breaking Bad, House, Doctor Who, Psych, Firefly, Downton Abbey, Lost, The Harry Potter movies, The Lord of the Rings trilogy (preferably extended edition), Futurama, Warehouse 13, Sherlock, Monk, Kickass, Napolean Dynamite, anything Monty Python (they did both movies and a tv series), Death Note, and The Village or almost any movie by M. Night Shymalayan or however it's spelled.

If you have questions about any of them, I'll be happy to answer them.

Also the Regular Show, and Invader Zim. But IMO, Adventure Time is the best of them all.
