Dude, I'm seeing them in December. I can't wait. Their new album is easily the best modern rock record I've ever heard, followed closely by Songs for the Deaf. Josh Homme is incredible, especially when recording with Dave Grohl.

I'd love to see them. I'd love to see Them Crooked Vultures even more, however.
Look 'em up if you don't know about them. They're pretty badass.

Dude, Them Crooked Vultures were such a big deal that Paul McCartney wanted to be their bassist, but they had to turn him down because they already had John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin. How often does something say "No thanks, Paul, we've already got John Paul Jones. Maybe next time, buddy."?

Dude, that ******* sucks. I love their sound, but I think it would've been so much better with Mccartney.

They would have been different, that's for sure. I think Jones brought more of a funk/hard rock sound whereas McCartney would have been slightly more bluesy and maybe bring a tad bit of 60's-70's Beatles-style pop/rock into the equation.
