The best sleep intervals are 30 minutes, 60 minutes, and 90 minutes. If you take a nap that is 45 minutes long you will feel a lot crappier than you would if you just took a 30 minute nap, because you are on a deeper sleep level and have a harder time adjusting to being up.

a trick Dali used to use to make sure a nap is only a nap is to hold a coin above a dish and when you fell asleep enough to drop it you will wake up and that's all the sleep you need for a nap
