I don't understand why some women care about that. Every man looks at porn to varying degrees. I don't care when mine looks at porn. In fact, we sometimes watch it together for new ideas...

None of the guys I dated looked at porn when we were together. I had a discussion on FJ with some of the men on here a while back. It makes me extremely jealous, and I just feel fucking hurt and like shit. I can't date guys who look at porn while I'm with them. It's just totally disrespectful to me. Some chicks are cool with it, but I am not.

Keep in mind, I am an extremely insecure person with "daddy issues" etc. etc. but I honestly have tried to be the best girlfriend I can be otherwise. I just can't handle porn though.

To be honest I'm less worried about people finding porn on my pc than them finding the large text files I save featuring conversations between me and friends. Those can be quite personal and I really don't want anyone reading them.

It is as I said, for instance I have one word document that has over 19 000 words in it, which is a conversation I had with someone.
I don't want anyone to read it.

Why do you save it?
sentimental reasons?

Myeah, something like that. Also... Because it's 19 000 words. I put a lot of time and work into those messages and I've had too many experiences where I've lost shit like this due to facebook accounts or entire sites going down. You have to understand that these aren't just "chats", they're... Very... Very personal thoughts of mine. A few of the messages in the "chat" were over 1000 words long and that's just ONE message, which is why the whole thing amounts to 19k words in total.
Another reason I keep them is so I can read them later and judge myself. We all change throughout the years and I like to look back at what I used to think and what I think now to compare. These conversations go back 5+ years some and I find it interesting to see what I used to say.
I'm a... Pretty serious guy when it comes to chatting so most of what I type amounts to my philosophies and idealogies like what we're doing right now =) That being said, I enjoy both of those subjects and reading about my own past mind is quite cool to me. To be honest I'm actually proud of some of these chats, like a piece of art or some project I completed. It's like a gamesave/file-type attachement. You put all that work into it, you don't want it to just disappear regardless of how pointless it is. It's still precious time spent solidifed into some THING.

Hmm... I can kinda understand.
I enjoy putting my thoughts into words, not like in a diary sense. I have some of my thoughts saved on my computer from long ago, but i just kinda stopped writing it one day. Never really had a conversation about 'em I didn't wanna weird friends out.

I typically don't have these conversations with friends but I do with my closer ones... I figure if you can't have them with your friends, they aren't very good friends, not that they can't BECOME good friends but that of course takes time. I basically just keep it for those I know will be alright with it; Not everyone's really interested in the things I'm interested in, even if we are friends.
A few weeks back I had even documented my dreams for a little while just 'cause I thought it'd be interesting to read later.

Yeah hahah I just never feel inclined to talk about it. I kinda keep my beliefs to myself; I dont really feel like sharing. I dunno.
i also tried documenting my dreams, but it didn't work out since i didnt stay consistent. and i have some pretty messed up dreams that i dont want to remember
