Brave Sir Robin ran away.
Bravely ran away away.
When danger reared it's ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.

Bravely taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the braaaave, Sir Robin!

Fun fact: The programming language "Python" is named after Monty Python, the tutorial includes references to multiple skits from Monty Python.

im just cracking up thinking about the Python men all huddled around in a circle frantically scrubbing that rabbit trying to clean it, with one of them popping their head up every few seconds to check if the owner was coming

the comment "your mother was a hampster and ur father smelt of elderberries" is a real insult. its basically saying ur mothers a whore and ur father a drunk.

What makes this film even more awesome is that one of the writers and director, Terry Jones, is an Arthurian scholar. Taking a British literature class, we actually analyzed Mony Python and the Holy Grail. Almost everything parodies either a characteristic of Arthurian myth or our perception of the time when it was written.

Truly a work of art.

> the bare bones little film that could

wat
User avatar #64 to #12 - sanguinesolitude (09/25/2013) [-]
no... that was fairly clear. Bare bones is a phrase referring to the cheapest meat you can buy which is just bones and barely any meat, and frequently means low budget or lacking in funding. "little film that could" refers to the very common childhood story of the little engine that could which has been a childhood staple in the english speaking world since the early 1900s. Basically anyone should be able to figure the meaning of that sentence out., even if they weren't familiar with the turn of phrase.

son i am disappoint.
