*negroid
is the correct term for anything relating to a black person whether it be a hair sample, skin sample, etc

so technically it is correct.

Not all black people are african origin, and I ******* hate when people just sway "african american" its lazy and just shows you're afraid of them.

I learned in some kind of african americans unite kind of crap organization that negro was traced to the root word in latin meaning dead carcass or body in latin by Malcolm X. Of course that could be a dirty lie so if someone wants to confirm that. I know Malcolm X did hate white people

Martin Luther King referred to himself as a Negro in his "I have a dream" speech and the US 2010 census returned to listing Negro alongside Black and African-American since many older citizens still self identified as Negro. Ethnicity itself is a fluid concept which is why the US census is constantly changing and redefining what each of its little checkboxes actually means.

For example, if you were Indian then over the years the US government has identified you as Asian, Middle Eastern, and Indian

It used to be, but now it's considered offensive. I wish it was okay to just call them what they are. I should be able to say that a black guy is "black" or a chinese man is "chinese" without being labeled as a racist asshole.
User avatar #94 - aerius (09/22/2013) [-]
It's latin for black, therefore it's scientific, dawg.

On my wedding day I introduced my best friend ( best man named james ) and one of my grooms men ( a co worker named angel ) to each other. I was like Angel this is James. James this is my black guy.

Angel was a really chill dude though. Older dude in his 50's but you could make jokes like that to him no problem and he would laugh about it. He could give it back just as good. After asking him to be in the wedding party I told him I was gonna make him wear white so we didn't lose him.
