Saw this one once and had a good laugh, especially as a few seconds later this foot tall chihuahua toddles out of the house..

Dobermen are ******* tough for such skinny dogs.

They're not actually that "skinny" so much as just very lean and deceptively muscular.
That's also why they're highly susceptible to hypothermia - they've got little fur and virtually no body fat to stave off cold weather or frostbite.

Dobermans get their slim figure from the Greyhound, which they descended from (along with rottweilers, beaucerons and various other pinscher breeds). Very neat and intelligent dogs, I wouldn't mind having one but for now, I'll stick with my husky mixes and wolfdogs.

My low-content husky/wolf mix knew a Doberman mix out at the dog park a while back - looked like a pure doberman, but bigger and yet black; no tan markings like most. They thought he might have been part great dane.
Outstanding dog - he loved to run and race with my boy, few of the other dogs could even keep up when those two started really sprinting.

I always wanted a dalmatian as a kid (and honestly still do), but I've heard most really don't have much patience for children. They also tend to hate getting wet and will make an effort to go around small puddles.
On the other hand, my family had a 110-pound Doberman/Rottweiler mix when I was a baby - whom I would use as a stepping stool to climb into my bed. This is him. His name was Riffraff - Riff for short.
Old photo is old.

they do hate getting wet i was the only one who could give the dog a bath cause it trusted me so much it was one of those kind of connections with a pet where it trusted me with any thing i miss my dog now

No, no, no-- I said "Dalmatian". I wanted a Dalmatian as a kid - since I already had a Doberman. xD I've known plenty of dobies who love the water, but "getting wet" and "having a bath" are two very different things. I've got a low-content husky/wolfdog who will swim in a lake for hours until I drag him out and he's shivering not from being cold at all, but because he's so exhausted - but if I give him a bath, he gives me the saddest face you'll ever see. Kind of like his expression in this picture of him.
