Don't be sad. The bird was stupid enough to fly at full speed into a window.

Son, you need to consume the lifeforces of hundreds of thousands of birds in order to gain the ability to fly. Trust me, I'm a doctor.

When I was little, my budgie flew into a room it wasn't supposed to be in (door was usually closed) and ate from a plant that made it ill, so my mum snapped its neck because we couldn't afford to go to the vet.

Good times.

Kinda know that feel.

About seven years ago a cat attacked a bird in our garden but saw me coming out and ran off before it finished it off. We kept the bird in a shoebox and fed it a bit until it cold fly again.

As soon as we released it it flew into a window and ******* died.

reminds me of that bit in the simpsons where they save a fish from some plastic rings caught around its neck then release it in the ocean and it gets eaten by a shark.

I also have a similar story. This summer, I came home from work. On the lawn in front of my house, our cat had gotten himself a bird. I think it was a swallow. I quickly shooed the cat away, and saw the half dead bird just lying there in what I assumed was a lot of pain. I stomped on it's head to kill it quickly. That was not a good feeling.

All the more reason for Japan to stop with the robots and get on those genetically engineered cat girls.
Of course it would cost a fortune.
There would be so many laws to go with it.
A new kind of racism.
People using them as sex toys and take out their frustration on them by beating them.
"Catgirl rights activists" begin to rally, hoping to free the catgirls. They'll bring in slavery.
Now it's just depressing to me now that I've thought about it.
