Medusa.
If you were to look at this, you would die instantly. End of story.
The image is of a reactor core lava formation in the basement of
the Chernobyl nuclear plant. It' s called the Elepha nes Foot and
weighs hundreds futons, but is only a couple meters across.
Oh, and regarding the Medusa thing? This picture was ta ken
through a mirror around the corner of the hallway. Because the
wheeled camera they sent up to take pictures of it was destroyed
by the radiation.

This is the 3rd time I've seen this posted dammit.

Yes it is highly radioactive, being near it could kill you, but this was years ago. Simply looking at it is not enough though.

Since then the intensity has died down. You can get much closer with a protective suit and stay relatively safe.

I find all of the Chernobyl stuff very interesting.Any idea what is happeing there ?

It's highly radioactive, yes, but not as dangerous as it was. Also, if it really was as dangerous as prior, standing around a corner with a ******* mirror wouldn't change a thing. It's not a ******* basilisk, ffs.

lmfao. You posted it August 27 of this year. Suck a dick and stop trying to take credit for an ancient repost.

I get that it kills you instantly, but when it was compared to Medusa, I was expecting something that turned you to stone.
I dunno.

The fun thing is that the radiation came from reactor 4 in a steam explosion. Some important safety features were missing like a giant lead tombstone that should have dropped on the core in case of catastrophic emergency.

That one release was 300-400 times larger than Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

There are still reactors that were not dealt with very well or as far as we know at least because the Soviet government didn't really care about the people. They didn't tell anyone about the accident for at least a week after it happened. In Belarus (where 60% of the fallout landed) many people ended up going out to swim in their local rivers and spending the day there enjoying the radiation since they were not warned at all.

It is even more awesome once you look at the birth to death ratios in the country after the event. Right after the accident, the birth line started moving down and the death line moved up until it reached what it has been for the past while. That one small country is dying because of the neglect of it's government.

I dislike this post. It's not a question of looking at it, it's a question of being near it. Unlike Medusa. It's trying too hard.
