I've tried to get my sister's kids to play some older games but according to them everything I like is stupid, especially if it's old. My younger nephew was at my house and asked what all the different controllers were for, I started telling him PS2, N64, etc and he just said "oh.. you don't have a wii u yet? Get rid of this stuff and get one." They also think my DS Lite is super old, makes me feel kinda bad they'll probably never appreciate the classics. (And yes I know not all kids are like this but it certainly seems that way)

Let me rephrase my second sentence. Most won't both to purchase the old consoles because if they actually did want to play the old games they could just buy them on the marketplace, psn, or download from rom sites if using a pc.

ASIANS CAN ACTUALLY READ MINDS!!!!!!!!!!!!
They can hear, and see what you're visually thinking. This is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

Asians hide their mind reading abilities by a lot of them having completely expressionless faces so they don't accidentally show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidentally saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.

Try thinking, and visually picturing things that are as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!! THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THIS!!!!!

When i was younger, my dad had a PS1 and me and my brothers would play on it, when we visited him on weekends. Our favourite game was Final Fantasy 9 (still it, FF9 master race), which my dad was also playing through, but was getting towards the end of. He must of had at least 50 hours playing time on this game save. At least he did until i accidentally saved over it rageofathousandsuns.jpeg.
He stayed calm, didn't express any anger towards me, told me it didn't matter and simply started over again.
I now realise what a horrible thing i did.

I actually did something similar when I was younger. My family each had their own save on Mario 64, but they also had a family save, where everybody played and they were trying to get all the stars. They had nearly every star, every single one but the red coins on rainbow road, and then I deleted it, not knowing what I was doing.

I liked FFVII more because it was my first Final Fantasy, as it was for so many others of my generation. I'm ashamed to say I lost touch with the series until FFX was released, but that being said I still have trouble deciding which of those two is my favourite. I loved 10, so sue me...

Final Fantasy IX is definitely the best game of the series, in my opinion. FFVII seems to be the favourite for most people. It's an awesome game, and I really enjoyed it, but the first one I ever played was FFIX, so I think it will always have a special place in my heart. I found the gameplay of the Nintendo DS / iPhone remake of FFIII pretty enjoyable too. I'd recommend it for Final Fantasy on the go, if you don't have a PSP, PS Vita, or Phone that's powerful enough to run PSX emulators at a decent speed.

my parents were the "im going to buy you this but whenever i even get slightly annoyed with you im taking it" sort of thing. legit. i got it taken away because i didnt do good enough in sports one time. it was easier for them to do that before i realized that my dad was old slow and out of shape and before i started becoming a better boxer than he ever was. i know it was probably better to just have it and get it taken away every other week, but still.

The first console I played was the Sega Genesis, when I was about 2 or 3 years old, my dad owned it. My mom's ex owned an original NES and I played it all the ******* time. When they split he took it with him unfortunately. Then my dad bought my brother and I a N64 for Christmas. That **** was cray. ******* awesome games on that console, first on that console I played was, like most people, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. When we turned 8 or 9 my grandfather got my brother and I a PS2 for Christmas. Played the **** out of that console. Later on we were so psyched for the second Smash Bros. game that we got a Gamecube, and eventually got the Wii for the same reason. Had nothing but those until I got into High School and eventually broke down and bought myself an Xbox 360 because my friends were all playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and it sounded like a dream game. Oblivion is now my favorite game. That was the last console I bought. Now I'm so obsessed with retro games that I've got a good amount of emulators at hand to play older games, especially NES and SNES games. Port that **** to the PSP and I've got that **** on the go too.

(I didn't mind going into detail over the handheld consoles I owned) All in all, I'm saying this in explaining that it truly doesn't matter what age you were born in, emulators are godly for that purpose of playing older games.

Of course I've played tons of the old games on emulators, but I've never played an actual snes, ps1, ps2, nintendo 64, or similar. My boyfriend got a NES in his familiy's summer house though, so I've played that.

I also got a gameboy advance at some point because we traveled a lot and my parents didn't want us to get bored on the long flights and stuff.

My console history started with an ooold xbox I bought used. Now I own that xbox, a wii, a ps3, a ds lite, a 3ds, and a gaming laptop. So things got sorted out when I started earning money on my own.

Yeah, consoles are kick-ass, and I wish I could've played an actual SNES myself. But When you play really hard games like Ghosts 'n Goblins, Save States are very convenient.

But I understand where you're coming from completely, my mom didn't like the fact at first that my dad's side of the family were giving us game consoles, because we've had numerous problems with them, and my mom felt like she was trying to get us (my brother and I) on their side. But ironically, now that I was old enough to know better, who the good people were in my overall family, my dad's side of the family hardly gave two ***** about my brother and I, and any time we visited it was almost a sin to them for us to play games, and my mom was pretty damn cool about us playing games....

But I digress, I meant that I somewhat know what you're coming from, since my mom wasn't very supportive of my brother and I playing games, and she enjoyed it more when we played outside and whatnot. Which I can hardly blame her, it's much more healthy, but what most parents don't realize, is that video games can be healthy for the mind and overall psychology of the person.
